You have suddenly materialized in a room made entirely of a shiny metallic solid. A shimmering holograph appears before you. It is an old man with long brown hair and a full beard streaked with gray hairs. Wearing a full-length nineteeth-century topcoat, it is Dmitri Mendeelev, the famous chemist who helped develop the Periodic Table of Elements.

The scientist says, "This room has been composed of a lightweight metal commonly found in kitchenware, foil and machinery and makes up 8% of the Earth's crust. This element has 13 protons (Hint: remember # protons = Atomic Number). " Enter the clues provided by Mendeleev and the element's symbol on your worksheet. Then click Room 2 at the bottom right corner and enter your element's symbol as the password to escape to the next room.
